So the site has had it’s make over..
But I need to tweak one or two more things but need the help of my wonderful friend who is not around at the moment, so I’ll have to wait patiently !
I have tried to make the site look clean and crisp and to blend in better with the colours of our banner.
If anyone has any suggestions on improving it any more or if the colours don’t look quite right please contact me or leave a constructive comment!!
So whilst the site was down I have been busy doing things around the house, like cleaning the master bedroom which I do throughly every 2 months. It;s in that clean up that I turn the mattress, clean the window sills and all that yukky stuff that one doesn’t do every day!
The lounge room has had a bit of a brighten up with the edition of the Christmas Tree and also the wooden furniture being polished every week!!
I *think* we are one step closer to deciding what to do with the kitchen floor – well I like to think so!
A friend was over here last week and suggested that we just do tiling/vinyl in the kitchen are and re-do the floorboards in the dining area. I love the idea and it should be so so much cheaper that what hubby would like to do which is that floating floorboard “stuff”.
I think that is a much better idea!
The rumpus has been cleaned out on the weekend as well!!
I am trying to shampoo the lounge rugs every month or so as I now have a carpet shampooer!
Still trying to do the front gardens – well remove the second one that is.
And of course I am still waiting for the third clothesline to go up in the backyard.
Our bath is sitting in the bathroom waiting to be put in but of course there are things to do in there before that can be done.
The shower is leaking and if I had my way I’d be ripping that out too and re-doing it but at this stage there is no money to do so… that is on next year’s list!
I have been on top of Mt Washmore, but at the moment for some unknown reason it is back! GRR!!
Oh well I guess I better go and fight the chores some more!!
